The story of Dark Souls is set in a story fantasy steampunk based world. After his family and his home taken from him, Macroy and his companion Rockfel come across a semi-immortal warrior who has chosen to bear magic artifacts to stop an ancient invading evil force of dragons known as the Morrigan from opening door to Netherlem and enveloping the world in complete darkness.
With the help of Barlida, their dragon guardian, Macroy and Rockfel will attempt to do what other chosen ones failed to do, save the world and drive the darkness back into Netherlem. To find out more go to our A.R.Hicks-pedia site here
Who are the creators?
The writer/creator of the A.R.Hicks series is Antoine R. Hicks and the artist/inker is Jezreel Rojales. The two are the masterminds behind this fantasy steampunk comic. Antoine is a former teacher and a first time comic creator as well as father of two. Jezreel is a veteran artist who has freelanced in the past and a all around family.
The two met online have been working together ever since. They have had their ups and down, but they still manage to get what needs to be done. The two have taken a different approach to tell the A.R.Hicks series story.

Is it Dark Souls or A.R. Hicks' Dark Souls?
A.R. Hicks' Dark Souls with emphasis on the possessive. It's the first of many in this series just like Tom Clancy as the name won't stay Dark Souls, but will change as the story progresses. After four issues, the next title name will be Dark Realm. With each chapter comes a new name.

Who are the other people on this comic?
For now, our letterist is E.T. Dollman, a veteran of comic business. He has worked on famous past projects such as Femforce, which is currently being published by AC Comics. Also Howard Lovecraft and The Three Kingdom who are being published by Arcana Publishing.
Another veteran is Thiago Ribeiro Brazilian colorist and well-renown for his various works on countless project both local and abroad. He is responsible for some of the affects both on the front and inside the comic.

How will this comicbook be sold?
Through paypal once I get my account set up. The process will go something like this...once I receive payment, I will send the digital copy via email as I did last time or mail.

Is this fantasy comic like a Dungeons and Dragons comics.
I will be honest, it is nothing like DnD or any other fantasy comic. I take try to distance myself as much as possible from that series as well as your other typical fantasy genre. The best way to describe the series is...well...you'll have to read for yourself.

I saw a version of your on the web before.
A free comic and it was sort of the BETA state. This comic is the final product so if you have the free copy you can keep it or you drop for the new vamped version.

Do you sale these in person.
Yes, I will be visiting Comic Convention in Florida regularly when I can. I will using some of the money from the comics I sell to book a booth if possible or at least attend with books in hand. (And with a vending license)
